Huge Delphiniums!

I was invited to visit a garden last week that I planted in 2012; one of the main borders runs along a gravel path which leads to an enclosed patio. The soft landscaping in the garden is relaxed and uses pastel tones, the large border is planted with a range of perennials including verbena bonariensis, blue delphiniums, heuchera and some pink salvias.

I was amazed at how mature the border looked, a large amount of compost was incorporated at the time of planting and this has obviously paid off, as the plants looked fantastic!
