Mediterranean garden
The brief was to create a Mediterranean style garden that provided a dining area with outdoor kitchen, a relaxed seating area and an informal vegetable garden with summerhouse at the top of the garden.
The long narrow garden sloped steeply up away from the house and needed completely re designing to maximise the space available. The existing steep concrete steps, patio and walling near the house were all removed, to accommodate the new design.

The new design includes a small area near the house with sofas and raised planters. The adjacent outdoor kitchen was constructed in block & render and tiled using terracotta tiles, it features a pizza oven and barbeque with built in storage underneath.
An elegant dining area with built in seating and lighting includes an authentic Mediterranean water feature and uses traditional Moroccan tiles to compliment the relaxed style of the garden.
The planting design replicates that of a Mediterranean landscape using plants that provide texture, colour & structure, also incorporating a fragrant herb garden for culinary use.
